Where are your products made?
J&M Home mainly sources our furniture from Malaysia, with some of our stock coming from China as well.
Do your products come ready-to-assemble?
Many of our products are shipped almost totally assembled, which is very convenient for our customers to finish assembly.
Some of our items are shipped ready-to-assemble. For items that are ready-to-assemble, this keeps shipping costs low, as RTA products are more compact & cost less to ship. RTA products are also less prone to damage during shipping.
Are your prices in Canadian dollars ($CAD)?
All prices listed on our website are in Canadian Dollars ($CAD). Our prices can easily be converted to US Dollars by clicking the USD button at the upper right corner.
Do prices include taxes?
Prices displayed do not include taxes. Sales taxes must be added to all sales in Canada. Customers from Québec pay GST and QST. Customers from Ontario, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, and Newfoundland pay HST. Customers from British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, PEI, Nunavut, Northwest Territories, and the Yukon pay GST.
Do you offer volume discounts?
J&M Home provides trade or volume discounts for interior designers, architects, and businesses requiring large quantities of product(s). Volume discounts may also apply to commercial furniture, hotel furniture, club furniture and office fit-outs. Do you use genuine leather for all your items?
Yes, we only use genuine top-grain or aniline-dyed leather for items that include leather, unless otherwise noted in the product description.
What is the difference aniline and semi-aniline leather?
Both types of leather are immersed in vats of aniline dye, which penetrates the hide so that the color permeates all the way through it.
Aniline leather receives no further treatment after dyeing, so it remains very soft and has a highly natural look. This natural look will improve with age and will create, over time, a wonderful patina. Aniline dyed leather comes with various names depending on the manufacturer or the furniture company. You may come across names like premium aniline, naked aniline, aniline full grain, or true aniline, they are all the same. Aniline is leather that has been dyed all the way through. It has no artificial top polyurethane layer or anything stamped or applied to its surface.
With semi-aniline leather, a clear, thin protective coating is applied to the top of the hide after the initial dyeing process to help the leather resist stains and fading. Semi-aniline leather is more hard-wearing than pure aniline leather and therefore a good choice for family homes where everyday wear-and-tear might be heavier than usual
Which secure payment methods do you accept?
We accept payment via Credit Card (Visa, Mastercard and American Express) and Paypal. Payment information is encrypted and protected by an SSL certificate provided by Shopify. Credit cards will be charged upon check out in full. We may also accept bank wires for special orders. Payment information, including credit card information is never stored or saved by JnMHome.ca under any circumstances. Orders will be processed once the proper funds have cleared.
Is it safe to make credit card payments on your website?
We strive to ensure that every credit card transaction occurs within a secure environment. Our payment system has a 128-bit SSL security encryption certification provided by Shopify, which is Level 1 PCI Compliant. This protects your sensitive information, including banking and credit information. We do not store your credit card information after your order is complete.
Where do you ship?
J&m Home will ship to any address in Canada and continental United States. Shipment to a P.O. Box is not possible and will be refused.
What is the expected delivery time if I order today?
All products in stock are shipped from our warehouse within 2 business days. Depending on your location, you can expect that shipping will take anywhere between 2 and 10 business days in Canada. U.S. and remote location shipping times may vary.
How much will I pay for shipping?
All our pricing includes shipping within Canadian provinces. For shipping to the Yukon, Northwest Territories and Nunavut, you will need to contact us for a quote, and a flat $49 delivery fee for clients in the continental United States.
We pay leading delivery service providers to ensure the best possible experience. All shipping includes insurance.
How will my order be shipped?
We believe your purchase deserves a special degree of handling and care. We use leading delivery companies to handle our orders, each one selected depending on the final destination, weight and size of the products.
We use specialized furniture delivery companies because we do not want your product to be delivered in front of your door without any other services, neither you to stay at home all day waiting for your delivery. We prefer to offer the best service possible as these companies generally take extra care throughout the entire process. We may use FedEx Ground or UPS but only for lightweight items.
How can I track my order?
Upon dispatch of your products from our warehouse, you will receive an email with your tracking number and a link to our couriers’ website which will allow you to track your products in transit. We are also always happy to track your order for you if you call us.
What if I am not home when my package arrives?
Additional delivery attempts will be made.
If your package is being delivered at an appointed time, you will be contacted to schedule this time beforehand. Redelivery fees may apply if someone is not available to accept delivery at a previously agreed upon time.
Will I have to sign for my delivery?
Yes. You will be asked to sign a delivery form, in which you confirm that the product(s) was delivered in the correct condition (without visible defects or damage).
How do I change my shipping address after my order has been placed?
If you wish to change the address or any other delivery details before the indicated delivery date, you must send an email to notify JnMHome.ca at least 48 hours prior to delivery. Please be sure to mention your order number and products. JnMHome.ca will confirm the change by phone or email.
What is your refund policy?
Our aim is that you are satisfied with everything you purchase from our online furniture store. In the circumstance where you are not satisfied with the quality or condition of our products, you may return the item(s) within 14 days of receiving your product for a full refund of the purchase price less shipping fees from and to the JnMHome.ca warehouse – no questions asked. What are the shipping charges in case of returns?
You can return your item(s) within 14 days. If the product(s) is not damaged or faulty, and you simply decided that you do not want it anymore, you will receive a full refund, less any shipping costs. Shipping costs will vary according to the item(s) and your location.
What if there is a problem with my order?
If we mistakenly sent you the wrong piece, we will send you the correct item and arrange for pickup of the wrong item at your earliest convenience.
If you simply ordered the wrong item (the wrong model or color), send it back (with a Return Authorization Form) and we will refund you or send you the correct piece. Please contact us for additional details.
What is your cancellation policy?
You may cancel your order with us up to the time when the product leaves our warehouse. Once the order is in transit, you will have to refuse the order upon delivery. When the order returns to our warehouse, it will be processed as a return, and the cost of the returned product will be returned to you less the cost of shipping.
Are your products covered by a warranty?
We understand that quality makes all the difference and we stand by what we sell. All J&M Home products are backed by a 12 month limited warranty.
